Term Reflection

Attention / Conduct in Class: Overall in class I personally think my behaviour was above average. In class I have generally got on with my own work with out distracting others and did not mess about. Most of the time I pay attention to the teacher and what I need to do and I would go on and get on with the work with no fuss. I would turn up to class on time everyday and do what I am told as soon as I get in so my conduct would overall be good. When I used the computers I worked on what I need to and didn’t use un useful site except the odd time when I got distracted.

Academic Performance: In the class tests I sat I did generally well in each one. For each paper I prepared before hand so I would get a decent mark, although it could be improved with more thorough revision. For one of the tests I was absent but on the other one got 11 out of 16. In the tasks we had to do during class a completed most of them, there was the odd one I didn’t have enough time or I couldn’t complete it as I was stuck.

Practical Skills Acquired:
Since the start of the academic year in IT my awareness of the new software I have been using has grown. I have learned to do tasks that I wouldn’t have known how to do before. At home and in class I practiced each of the methods I was shown in school. This way it makes it easier for my to use the software when I need to in tests etc.

Time Spent Out of Class: For work I did outside school it was pretty much at a minimum in terms of revision. Although in homework’s I only forgot to do one. This can easily be improved with much more revision for my AS coming up soon. As for my homework I will need to make a note of all my homework’s I am given in future to make sure I do it and remember.

Responsibility for Own Learning: Generally I was very good in this section. I never once forgot my passwords or usernames. Overall I was very well organised. I kept my blog up to date with what I had to do etc. In my study periods, I tried my best to get into the IT classrooms to work on my coursework for my free periods but I only could get in some of the times.
